Limited edition, while supplies last!
Brewed as a Flanders Red, following a first round of fermentation in the tank, we then added Brettanomyces and lactic acid bacteria to the beer, let it mature in red wine casks for a year and finally refined it through bottle fermentation. Fruity acidity, malty caramel aromas with a dry tannin structure, red fruits, refreshing finish.
· Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte
The robustness and the nutty-caramel flavors of our Barley Wine reasoned the name Nussknacker (Nutcracker).
The intense malty characteristics, paired with flavors of dried fruits, result in a very complex, yet easily enjoyable beer, even with 10 % ABV.

SEASONAL BEER – Available from June, as long as stocks last!
Who is this Hugo everyone keeps talking about?
“It’s summer and it’s hot. You need a refreshing drink that quenches your thirst, is light and fruity and tastes just great.”
This is what went through our heads when we were about to create Garten Eden (“Garden Eden”). Fresh elderflowers combined with a light lager were our obvious idea. Pale malts and subtle hopping leave the elderflowers enough room to fully develop their character.
Adding the flowers in the storage tank slowly releases the delicate aromas – without any added sugar syrup!

It’s mysterious, not (yet) proven, though required to explain gravitational interdependencies in space – Dunkle Materie (“Dark Matter”).
In our case, this refers to the mystic interdependencies between the malty roast flavours of a stout and the floral hop notes of an IPA.
A black IPA, also called Cascadian dark ale or American black ale, is a fairly young kind of beer that, similar to dark matter, often needs explaining. A deeply black beer, topped by a fine and creamy head, it looks just like a classic Stout. On your lips, however, there is an intensely hoppy aroma that is similar to an India Pale Ale. At first, intense roast flavours reminiscent of espresso and dark chocolate dominate. These are quickly joined by floral, citrus-like hop notes that towards the end come to prevail. Each and every sip brings new nuances. The Black IPA wants to be explored anew every time, just like dark matter – the Dunkle Materie.

Brew Age Hopfenauflauf (“Hop Bake”) is an Austrian interpretation of an American pale ale.
Pale ale is a top-fermented type of beer characterised by the use of special ale yeast and aromatic varieties of hops.
Another special characteristic of this beer is the use of dry hopping, where aromatic hops are added to the already fermented beer. This gives a fruity bouquet reminiscent of exotic and citrus fruits.

Fruity, fruitier, King of the apes. The big brother of our Hopfenauflauf ale prides itself on a royal hoppiness. Grapefruit, passion fruit, citrus notes.
Its malty body nicely balances the hoppy bitterness, resulting in a tart, fruity finish that makes you long for more. But beware! At 8.2% AbV you should show some regal restraint or you’ll make a right monkey out of yourself!

An ode to malt – enjoyment as from outer space: Malzstraße (“Malty Way”), Brew Age’s Viennese-style lager.
You immediately notice the golden, slightly reddish colour of this beer and realise: Malzstraße is no beer for the masses.
The main actor of our Viennese Lager is Viennese malt. This type produces a complex but pleasant body with a touch of sponge cake. The subtle bitterness of the hops provides balance and refreshment.
And as we believe that an elegant touch of hops makes this beer even better, we added finely aromatic Hallertau hops as a special treat.

At wintery temperatures, we freeze out a part of the Nutcracker in the form of water. All facets of the remaining beer are thus made much more intense and the Ice Cracker is born: strong, with malty dried fruit aromas – a force to be reckoned with!
Limited edition, currently sold out!
Barley Wines are top-fermented strong beers. The name indicates the high alcohol content that is similar to wine. We let the Nutcracker mature in bourbon and rum casks for several months. This gives the beer aromas of toffee and vanilla as well as coconut, which then combine with the nutty, caramel tones into a very complex taste experience.
